NSM’s ecology committee preserves the natural resources that God has provided us with, in our homes as well as on Earth, through programs that foment reduction, reuse, and recycling.
Every day, the NSM community separates all its residues in special containers divided by category.
Each Friday, from 7:00am to 9:00am, we receive toothpaste tubes along with their packaging, toothbrushes, soap and laundry packaging, newspaper, white and colored paper, magazines, pamphlets, books, notebooks, aluminum cans and batteries.
The committee also participates each year in the Bonfire by having a crafts stand focused on ecology. Every year the newspaper contest is held to instill recycling in the NSM community. At the end of the school cycle there are two activities: the family-to-family book donation program and the book and notebook recycling.
