We at Northridge School Mexico firmly believe in an international perspective, a kind environment and a strict academic focus. At NSM we aim to prepare your son for higher education wherever he may want to study, be it in the United States of America, Europe, or Mexico. We support our students throughout their time here and make them aware of the multiple educational offers throughout the world.

International Environment – Northridge has a committed group of international teachers from all around the English-speaking world. Around 70% of our classes are taught in English, most of them by native speakers.

Our teachers provide a window into the culture of their countries and help our students develop a global perspective, as well as a complete understanding of the English language.

We realize that the insight and experience our teachers can provide are key to the development of an international mindset.

International Rigor:

At Northridge, we align ourselves with the OECD’s Programme For International Assessment (PISA) through ISA testing. We monitor our students’ development and make sure they are reaching key international goals.

Language evaluation at NSM is guided by the Common European Framework of References for Languages, or CEFR. Our mathematics program in Elementary and Middle School follows Singapore Math, the most successful mathematics program in the world. Our students participate in the Maths Olympiad as well as international Model United Nation events

International Links:

We offer a program of double certification in High School alongside Northridge Preparatory school. High School Students are enrolled both here at NSM and at our partner school in Chicago and graduate with a double diploma if they complete the exchange requirements.

We also have strong international ties with schools across the globe and promote international exchange where possible.

International Aspirations:

We also have strong bonds with international universities and support our students in their application for higher education both abroad and at home.

Throughout High School students take a dedicated course that supports students and guides them to make an informed and contemplated decision about what to study at university and how to dedicate themselves to a career best suited to their skills, abilities, and interests.

The College Readiness course develops both study skills as well as guide students through the entire process of choosing a university, including presenting standardized tests and writing a college application essay.

We aim to empower our students and help them be positive leaders not only in Mexico, but also around the world.
