Construyendo:

Construyendo is a project that all sixth graders participate in each year in a joint effort with the organization Construyendo.org

The objective is to build a house for a family in need together. The generation has to collect a certain amount of money with the help of the entire Northridge community. Construyendo will match that amount of money collected, assigns the family that is most in need and helps build the house.

The kids along with some teachers will spend a weekend building the house and on the last day parents join their kids and present the finished house.
