High school
Featuring the opportunity to graduate High School with a dual diploma, our 9th through 12th grade boys thrive in a kind, yet demanding environment which bolsters their journey into the world’s top university campuses.
With over 5 graduating classes under our belt, it makes us very proud to see our students thriving not only at Mexico’s most prestigious institutions, but also at colleges such as Notre Dame, the University of Navarra, and Berkeley, among others.
The competencies learned will allow them to reach their full potential and strengthen their character, all in accordance with the Catholic virtues taught by the spirituality of the Opus Dei.
DUAL DIPLOMA
Thanks to the similarity between both academic plans, our exchange program with Northridge Prep in Chicago offers our boys the chance to obtain a dual High School Degree: One corresponding to the UNAM’s CCH, and the other corresponding to Northridge Prep.

Faculty
By keeping themselves up-to-date in their respective fields, Northridge School High School faculty possess the necessary credentials to demand high academic excellence from their students.
Moreover, our High School boys benefit from a co-teaching system in subjects such as math and science, which places two instructors in every classroom and provides tailored help that fits the needs of every student and minimizes interruptions.
Thus, alongside making sure that all guidelines set by the Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades are met, Northridge School Mexico offers its students:
- Linguistic abilities at the C1 level, both for English and Spanish (based on the Common European Framework of Reference), which will ensure boys are able to properly speak and write at optimal academic proficiency levels.
- Logical-mathematical thinking abilities that will facilitate the solution of complex problems.
- A thorough music program that will allow them to obtain the ABRSM 4 or Trinity 4 certification, if they wish to do so.
- Digital learning environments with a focus on the proper incorporation of technology into their educational programs and personal lives.
- The ability to understand their role in society and the tools needed to improve the life of those around them.
- A well-thought out Physical Education program that promotes a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, with the possibility of competing in regional and interscholastic tournaments.
Our school environment fosters cordiality among teachers, students, families and staff. Boys in every section of the school participate in various extracurricular activities with the goal of fostering friendship and kindness.
Furthermore, our High School boys participate in off-campus activities and challenges, such as a class camp, regional and national Math Olympics and Model UN.
High school sports and physical education
While team sports are part of the extracurricular program for every other section, team sports in High School count towards fulfilling the boys’ PE requirements.
All boys who are not playing team sports must join an alternate activity in order to fulfill their PE prerequisites.
Sports in High School happen twice a week and on an extended schedule.
